Anirudh Baheti
Anirudh Baheti is a serial entrepreneur with a focus on building organizations that excel at healthcare products, services and technology innovation. His first startup, Focus Infomatics Inc., became the industry leader in medical transcription services, and was acquired by Nuance Communications [NASDAQ: NUAN] in 2007.He then founded Focus Eduvation, an online learning company that provides tutoring services to K-12 students, and other educational services to institutions across the country.
Daya Shankar
Daya Shankar has nearly 20 years of experience as a startup and large enterprise executive. Prior to co-founding ScribeEMR, he was senior product manager of Nuance Communications. As the director of operations at Focus Infomatics Inc., he led the startup’s complex, successful acquisition by Nuance Communications. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Bangalore University.
Terry Ciesla
Terry Ciesla has served in various senior management positions for several healthcare service and IT vendors, most recently guiding the successful startup of a company that delivered cognitive computing and analytics software to hospitals and physician practices. He has served as the director for implementation services at MedQuist, Inc., and assistant director of patient services for the University of South Florida Physicians Group, where he directed a team of more than 35 nurses.
Terry proudly served as a healthcare administrator in the US Navy for 20 years. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from National Louis University.
Paul Ferrazza
Paul Ferrazza is an accomplished healthcare executive with more than 15 years of experience in revenue cycle management and coding business development. As the vice president of Coding Business Development at CodeEMR, he is responsible for strategic initiatives that drive growth and innovation in coding services.
Paul has a strong track record of building and leading high-performance teams that deliver exceptional results. He has worked with health systems, ambulatory, primary care, and federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), to reenergize operations with software and service offerings that improve quality, comply with changing regulations, and achieve optimal, long term financial success.
Michelle Anderson
Michelle Anderson is a leading expert in medical coding for federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) and community health centers (CHCs). As implementation manager at CodeEMR, she provides specialized implementation, training, and education to ensure compliance and optimize value. Michelle is a certified FQHC coding specialist, risk adjustment coder, medical compliance officer, professional medical auditor, and professional coder with ICD-10 expertise.
TN Raju
TN Raju has more than 25 years of experience working at the forefront of clinical documentation, medical coding, and human resource services. Under his leadership as vice president, Nuance Transcription Services doubled its transcription business. He also served as vice president of operations at Auxo Technology Labs, a successful startup that developed innovative documentation solutions and services for major hospitals across the country.
He is a certified medical transcriptionist, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Physics and Chemistry from the National College, Basavanagudi, in India.
Sujeet Kumar
Sujeet Kumar has been navigating the complex world of US healthcare for more than 20 years, specializing in medical coding and other related areas. His proficiency with denials management, billing intricacies, claim processing nuances, provider education, medical record structuring, and reimbursement strategies has made him an invaluable partner for healthcare organizations seeking to enhance operational efficiency and financial performance.
His expertise working with the complexities of coding guidelines, documentation requirements, and regulatory mandates, sets a tone of finesse and precision for providing accurate, efficient medical coding, which is the cornerstone of revenue optimization and compliance adherence.
Sujeet’s skill set extends to every facet of the revenue cycle – from identifying and resolving claim denials to streamlining billing processes and maximizing reimbursement opportunities. His deep understanding of provider education needs ensures seamless integration of best practices, which empowers healthcare professionals to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry.
Afshan Anjum
Afshan heads the Coding Operations, Quality and Training department while playing a pivotal role in onboarding customers. She is responsible for running strategic initiatives related to recruitment, training, mentoring, career growth, and workforce retention.
Prior to CodeEMR, Afshan was part of the India leadership team at Omega Healthcare and LogixHealth, where she executed the planning, transition, and implementation of multi-specialty projects across locations. During her tenure, she also led workforce planning, recruitment, training, and retention initiatives.
Afshan has a Master’s Degree in Science from Bangalore University and is a certified outpatient coder from the American Academy of Professional Coders.
